Under the current BWF policy, the primary member representing a company must be a Director, Partner or Proprietor.

Yes. A managerial-level representative may attend as a substitute when the primary member is unavailable, subject to BWF's substitute-attendance rules.

Regular BWF chapter meetings currently take place twice every month. The exact meeting dates vary by chapter.

Yes. BWF is designed as an active networking community and regular bi-monthly attendance is mandatory under the current policy.

Under the current policy, missing three consecutive meetings or more than five meetings annually can result in action, including possible replacement.

Yes. Eligible professionals can register as visitors for a chapter meeting and experience the forum before applying for membership.

Choose the chapter you want to visit and complete the visitor registration form with your personal, company and business-category information.

Select your business category, check chapter availability, visit a chapter where appropriate, submit your application, complete verification and wait for Admin Team approval.

No. All membership applications are subject to review, and the BWF Admin Team has final discretion over admission.

The current BWF policy requires valid GST and PAN information/copies during registration. Additional information may be requested as part of verification.

A business category defines the primary product, service or professional expertise represented by a member inside a chapter.

BWF's membership architecture covers more than 70 construction-related verticals, including builders, architects, contractors, materials, consultants, interiors and specialist building services.

Check whether the category is available in another BWF chapter. If it is unavailable across suitable chapters, you can register interest for a waiting list or future chapter.

Some BWF categories have multiple published slots, such as certain builder, architect and civil-contractor categories. Availability should be checked chapter by chapter.

Meetings can include structured networking, member introductions, referral recognition, visitor introductions, business presentations, industry discussions, guest speakers, knowledge-sharing sessions and chapter updates.

Referrals are an important part of the BWF model. Members are encouraged to understand one another's businesses and create genuine, relevant introductions.

No. BWF creates opportunities for relationships, introductions and referrals, but no professional networking forum can guarantee a transaction or revenue.

No. Members remain responsible for their own commercial transactions and due diligence. BWF may intervene in member disputes according to its policies, but the forum is not responsible for member-to-member transactions.

The Chapter President and BWF Admin Team have authority under the current policy to intervene in member disputes and take appropriate action.

Members are expected to follow BWF's Code of Conduct, meeting guidelines and professional standards. Unethical behavior or serious non-compliance can lead to disciplinary action or removal.

Current BWF policy restricts members from participating in other building-related networking or referral groups to avoid conflicts of interest.

Members currently contribute toward regular meeting hotel and food expenses. Visitors and special events may have separate charges. Always check the current meeting page for applicable fees.

Not necessarily. Separate charges may apply for events, conferences and exhibitions.

No. The magazine and BWF forum membership are separate. A magazine subscription does not automatically create permanent BWF membership.
