BWF Policies

Builders World Forum - Rules and Guidelines

1. Membership
Forum membership is exclusively for construction industry professionals and is subject to approval by the Admin team.

2. Registration
Valid GST and PAN number copies are required during registration.

3. Category Retention
Maintaining the allotted category depends on adherence to rules and active contribution to the forum by referrals.

4. Exclusive Participation
Members cannot be part of other building-related networking or referral groups to avoid conflicts of interest. The admin team can remove members for non-compliance.

5. Admission Discretion
The Admin Team holds the final decision on accepting membership applications.

6. Member Representation
Only a director, partner, or proprietor can be the primary BWF member. Other company representatives can attend as substitutes.

7. Referrals
Members are encouraged to bring genuine referrals and visitors to their BWF Chapter. The Chapter President will acknowledge their efforts.

8. Substitute Attendance
If the primary member is absent, a managerial-level substitute can attend meetings, but substitute attendance is limited to 25%.

9. Dispute Resolution
The President and Admin team have the authority to intervene and resolve member disputes.

10. Meeting Attendance
Bi-monthly meeting attendance is mandatory. Missing 3 consecutive meetings or more than 5 meetings annually can result in action, including potential replacement.

11. Ethical Conduct
Members must adhere to the BWF Code of Conduct and meeting guidelines. Unethical behavior can lead to disqualification.

12. Magazine Subscription
Builders World magazine subscribers are entitled to receive the magazine as per the magazine's subscription terms. However, subscribing to the magazine doesn't automatically grant permanent forum membership.

Forum membership is contingent upon adhering to the forum's rules and actively contributing referrals. The admin team's removal of a member from the forum doesn't impact their magazine subscription.

In essence, the forum and the magazine are separate entities with distinct terms of engagement.

13. Time Allotment
Members must follow the time allotments set by the head table during meetings. The head table can remove members for non-compliance.

14. Decorum and Liability
Members must maintain decorum. The forum is not responsible for any member-to-member transactions, disputes, or issues. However, the admin team and head table can remove members involved in such issues.

15. Showcause Notice
Since forum membership is granted without any consideration from members, the admin team and head table are not obligated to issue a show-cause notice prior to removing any member.

16. Members Expenses
Members are required to pay the treasurer Rs. 2000 in advance before the 3rd of every month to cover hotel food expenses for two meetings. This payment is mandatory regardless of attendance. Additional charges may apply for subsequent events, conferences, and exhibitions, and participation in these is at the discretion of the members.

17. Meeting Dates
The 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month will be our meetings.
